Jao Sample Pack Review

Good morning! 

Today we're going to talk about some products from Jao Brand. I was lucky enough to snag one of their free sample packs and have some of their Face Creme sent to me! As always, all opinions are my own.

Sample Pack Contents

 In the sample pack, you get a sample of their Jao Refresher, their Face Creme, the Patio Oil, Goe Oil, Coiffette, Beard Scent, and Lip Jao. All samples are good for multiple uses and last a surprisingly long time!

Patio Oil

 Their Patio Oil is a product designed to keep bugs at bay. You can really smell the lemon eucalyptus and soybean oil. It also is super moisturizing and would be nice to use during the hot summer months when skin gets damaged daily from sun exposure. I haven't been able to test how well it repels bugs because it's currently winter where I am and we don't have any bugs! But, it does smell like a nice natural bug repellent.

Beard Scent

The beard scent is described as a bomade designed to tame flyaway hairs, soften hair cuticles, and moisturize skin. Now, I don't have a beard so I can't say how it works in the department, but it was a nice moisturizer and did work well as a pomade for my short hair! It also smells really nice, with subtle hints of grapefruit and balsam.

Goe Oil

 I love this product in particular! Goe Oil is designed to replace to some of the natural oils you lose daily due to sun exposure and stress. It sinks so well into the skin and leave it feeling fresh and clean. It can be used to repair rough skin, heal sore nostrils, remove makeup, soften cuticles, and soften skin after shaving. I used it after shaving and it made my legs feel so smooth!

Lip Jao

 I used this product daily, and even though I had a hard time getting it out of the sample pack, I did love how soft it made my lips after applying. I needed to reapply several times throughout the day however to retain that soft feeling, as it tended to soak in so fast!

Coiffette

I really liked this product. Coiffette has a nice subtle scent similar to Goe Oil. It can be used to tame flyaway hairs, soften cuticles, and is quite similar to Beard Scent except the scent is much more feminine and subtle. It says it can be used on wet hair to create soft curls with no frizz. I didn't try this claim, as my hair is already pretty curly, but encourage you to try and let me know the results!

Face Creme

This was the product I spent the most time looking at. It is designed as an anti-aging night cream for dry complexions. I tried to use this in the morning, but had trouble with the fact that it was just so oily and didn't soak in to my skin that quickly. When it did soak in, it made my skin soft and firm. I used it again during the night and had a much better result. By the time I woke up it was all soaked in and my skin was nice and hydrated. So, I strongly suggest you use this before bed and sleep in it.

Jao Refresher

This is a liquid sanitizer that doesn't smell that strongly of alcohol. It didn't dry my hands and is said it can be used on different parts of your body to make you feel refreshed and clean. I think this would work well under your armpits of a hot day! I liked this product and think it would work well in an environment where you constantly have to wash your hands, but don't want the drying effects of traditional hand sanitizer.
