Bio Seaweed Gel Nail Polish Review

Hey everyone!
Today we're reviewing a gel nail polish sent to me by Bio Seaweed Gel. They sent me a base color and top coat along with two nail buffers and instructions.
Once again, the fact that I was sent these products at no charge does not impact my reviews in the slightest. All opinions are my own.

First off, let's take a look at the bottles.

Bottles and buffers
The first bottle I picked up was their Unity All-In-One color in Pink Sky. They claim that it can be cured in either direct sunlight, UV lamps, or LED lamps. Because of the current weather here in the snowy northeast, I was unable to test out the direct sunlight curing but was able to use my LED lamp to get it to cure nicely!

In the brochure I received, they said to let it cure in the LED for 30 seconds. Although, I am extra careful and let it cure for a full minute under the light. So, I applied the recommended near translucent base coat and let it cure. When I took it out it was nice and hard. I then applied the recommended second coat and applied it thicker this time, letting it cure for one minute again under the light.
The color changed slightly from the initial application to the end of the curing process and became a tad duller, but still beautiful. The color is a soft, neutral pink with slight violet undertones. It isn't too flashy and would work well in a professional workplace.

After the initial coat I applied the No-Wipe Top Coat. I applied it thickly in order to get a nice thick layer to reduce the chance of chipping and let it cure under the LED for another minute.

It came out super hard! I loved the shine it added to the color too, not too much and not too little.

I did however run into a few problems. The smell when you first start to apply it it quite strong, but I've come to expect that with most nail polishes. The smell wasn't chemically, but more natural and earthy. I also had a problem right after drying with fabric fibers sticking to the polish. I could wipe them off though and once it dried fully after about 15 minutes I had no further problems.

All in all, I really loved this gel polish. It took a short amount of time to complete and has a nice, hard finish that lasts for quite a while (even for me who constantly picks at my nails). They also are friendly to the lungs, containing no formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, BHA, or solvents. So, if you're looking for a gel nail polish with very few steps, no harsh chemicals, and the ability to solar cure, Bio Seaweed Gel is the way to go! The Unity All-In-One retails for $18.00 and can be found here and the No-Wipe Top retails for $20.00 and can be found here.
