VMV Hypoallergenics Haul and Review!

Happy weekend everyone! Hope it's going well so far.
Today I'm going to feature some products I was sent by VMV Hypoallergenics. I was excited to hear back from them after sending an email because it was clear they truly cared about making allergy friendly products. In the spirit of transparency I will say I was sent these products for free, but I am not being paid or compensated in any way to write this review. So, let's get started!

I was sent five different products, the Essence Skin-Saving Superwash Hair and Body Milk Shampoo, Superskin Care: Creamy Rich Intense Moisture Milk SPF 15 for Dry Skin, Red Better: Deeply Soothing Cleansing Cream, Red Better: Spot Corrector, and Grandma Minnie's: The Big, Brave Boo-Boo Balm.

Let's start with the Red Better products. I used the Deeply Soothing Cleansing Cream every day in the shower and was surprised at how much better my skin felt. My skin was not any dryer than had I not washed it (I have dry skin anyway) and was noticeably less red in the cheek and nose area. It had no scent and was really nice to put on. I rubbed it in and let is sit for a minute or two, and then rinsed it off. It was super easy to use and left my skin feeling smooth and supple. I really loved how easy the process was, how allergy friendly the wash was, and how it made my skin feel after using it only once. It retails for $26 and can be found here.
The Spot Corrector is a life saver. I used it when I was feeling especially allergic and noticed that I was a little 'redder' than usual. My skin reacts even if I touch it, so when I first put it on I didn't really notice any change, but after it had a few minutes to take affect it worked like a charm. It really calmed my skin and helped reduce the redness from what i believe was the inside out rather than just covering it up. It retails for $25 and can be found here.
I really recommend this line of products, especially if you have issues with redness and daily allergens. They really work nicely!

Spot Corrector Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Butylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-25, Glyceryl Stearatem C12-15 Alkyl Lactate, Alcohol, Glyceryl Laurate, Cyclopentasiloxane, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Salicylic Acid, Sulfur, PEG-30 Castor Oil, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Phytate

Cleansing Cream Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Glycerin, Paraffin, Glyceryl Stearate, Stearic Acid, Stearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Laurate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Sodium Phytate, Citric Acid.

The Moisture Milk is really nice and thick. It's a simple moisturizer that works very well. It's quite thick, but not too thick that you need to worry about it not soaking in well. It feels nice once it soaks in and is not slippery at all. It lasts and provides more moisture than any other moisturizer that I've ever used before, an incredible feat considering how many moisturizers I've used! I've included a swatch below.
It retails for $29 and can be found here.
Moisture Milk Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Glycerin, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Titanium Dioxide, Aluminum Stearate, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Alumina, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Glyceryl Laurate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Triethanolamine, Tetrasodium EDTA, Citric Acid, *Tocopheryl Acetate.

The Skin-Saving Superwash is one of those products that I really HATE using simply because I don't want to run out of it! It has no scent and can be used as both a shampoo and body wash. I find it easiest to wash my hair, lather it up, and use the leftover on my body. It's moisturizing and simple. It doesn't make me itch at all and doesn't dry my skin at all. I've used it on my colored hair too, and have seen no adverse reactions with the color! An added bonus!
It retails for $28 and can be found here.
Skin-Saving Superwash Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Glycol Distearate, Steareth-4, Glyceryl Laurate, Butylene Glycol, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Sodium Phytate.

Finally, I was given the Big Brave Boo-Boo Balm. It's one of their most popular products and is a really cool twist on what I used a kid, Bag Balm. It's almost like Vaseline but BETTER. I used it recently during my sinus infection when my nostrils were raw and found that it worked really well. It's also suggested that you use in on scrapes, cuts, or 'boo-boos' and can imagine that it would work just as well there, seeing how quickly it aided in healing my nose. I've also included a swatch below that shows the texture and consistency of the product.
It retails for $13 and can be found here.
Big Brave Boo-Boo Balm Ingredients: Petrolatum, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Glyceryl Laurate.

All in all, I'm super glad I found this company and can't imagine all the good it's doing to women like me who have severe allergies. They even offer custom products that can be made if you provide them with a list of products you are allergic to. On their website you can find makeup, lotion, body wash, and just about anything else you might need! I highly recommend them.

I've linked all their social pages below, so go give them some love! Tell them Allergy Friendly Beauty sent you ;]
